Nottefonda is born in the valleys east of Verona, from carefully selected local grapes hand-harvested after a brief period of drying.
The clusters are gently pressed, and fermentation takes place at controlled temperature before ageing in fine oak barrels.
A refined blend of Veronese hillside varieties: Corvina, Pinot Noir, and Merlot.
The grapes are left to overripen on the vine for 10–15 days, followed by a short drying period on racks. Fermentation occurs in stainless steel, then the wine undergoes a brief ageing in oak — the duration and method determined by the winemaker’s discretion.
Seductive aromas of black cherry and wild berries intertwine with hints of black pepper, licorice, cocoa, and tobacco.
Soft and warm, with a velvety texture that envelops the palate. Full-bodied yet perfectly balanced, with lingering notes of blueberry and blackcurrant jam.
